To comply with FAA Regulations, the RECUV has submitted 60 certificate of authorization (CoA) applications for an area covering Northeastern Colorado and portions of Kansas and Nebraska. The applications detail the operational plan and emergency procedures for the system along with detailing the airworthiness of the aerial platform.
The map below shows all of the areas of operations. The "Active" CoA areas are shown in green. The contours repesent the forecast risk of severe storms for the current day. More information about the forecast can be found at NOAA's Storm Prediction Center.
